I am currently working with Professor Magnus Rattray at the University of Manchester and Professor David Barber at UCL on generative AI for biology—for example, generating gene expression profiles across different states to model and track cell evolution.

My PhD at King’s College London focused on developing explainable deep learning methods for surgical instrument detection and disease classification using medical images. In 2023, I participated in the Turing Enrichment Scheme, where I focused on research in explainable and multimodal AI.

My research interests concern the theoretical development of generative, explainable, and multimodal AI methods, with primary application in the biomedical domain.
