FAQs

This section will help you find quick, clear answers to common questions about our Hub. For anything that isn’t listed here, please contact us using this form.

  • How can I propose a research project or industry collaboration to you?

We're always excited to hear about new collaboration ideas. If you have any, tell us about them in our contact form below. Make sure you provide as much information as possible about yourself, your organisation and your proposal. If you want to contact a specific researcher or member institution, please make that clear in your message. Otherwise, we will pass them on to the most appropriate contacts.

I am a researcher at a university, but not a Hub partner, can I still get involved in your working groups?

Yes - our investigators are collaborating with researchers from a range of UK institutions. If you are doing research that aligns with our working group themes, we would love to connect! Please sign up to our newsletter to hear about the latest working group activities. You can also complete the contact form providing as much information as you can about yourself and your research interests.

Is there any funding available for projects and collaborations?

We will be launching a number of funding opportunities over the course of the project. These will primarily be aimed at researchers and their collaborators. Follow us on Linked In or subscribe to our emails for updates.

What other opportunities do you offer to get involved with the Hub?

We are running a programme of events exploring Generative AI and the latest developments in generative models. Please sign up to our newsletter for the latest news on our events or visit our events page.

  • Do you offer fellowship opportunities for researchers?

We are recruiting post doc researchers at several of our partner universities between now and 2029. Please follow our Linked In pages for the latest jobs news.

There will be more opportunities for postdoc researchers created through our upcoming funding calls.

    Do you fund PhD students?

Our hub does not offer PhD study, or provide funding. However, you can find out more about institutions offering PhD opportunities in the UK for AI on the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) website.

You can also contact individual institutions about the PhD programmes they offer.

I am a PhD student – what opportunities can you offer me?

Hub-funded projects and researchers sometimes need research support. Current PhD students could be candidates for these roles. Adverts for any positions will be widely publicised including on the hub website and Linked In page.

If you are looking for a PhD supervisor, please contact potential supervisors via their institution.
